The running track in Wuling City, the one you always see citizens jogging on, becomes the stage for the event. From mountain paths to city rooftops, and even through the air: every corner ends up being a runner paradise.

The four tracks

The first two are open from the start; from day two onward one more is added each day at 04:00 server time. To take part you need to have completed the main mission Chapter Ⅱ Process Ⅱ: Ready the Easterlies. Every race has a time limit, and reaching the finish line gives rewards based on your result.

Two ways to play it

1

Full speed

You go straight for the finish line. Reaching it inside the time limit awards generous prizes, Oroberyl included.

2

At your own pace

You take the time to explore the track and collect every Chubby Lung Balloon. The more balloons you gather, the further you get along Runner's Milestones and the more rewards you unlock.

3

Use the mechanisms

Every track has its own mechanisms and traps. Touching a Vortex gives you a temporary speed boost, and there are bounce devices too. Watch out for Banana Peels: they're a trap, and stepping on one makes you slip and fall.

What you take home

The medal is exclusive to this event.

Engraved Medal · “Supreme Runner”

Complete all races.

Trimmed Engraved Medal

Complete every track with 3★.

Rewards

The event's rewards include:

  • Oroberyl ×1200
  • Portrait Frame: Champion Runner
  • “Rolling Chubby Lung” Energy Drink
  • Advanced Progression Selection Crate I, Advanced Cognitive Carrier and Mark of Perseverance

The commemorative stuff comes from balloons

The Oroberyl comes from hitting the finish line in time, but commemorative items like the “Rolling Chubby Lung” Energy Drink come from Runner's Milestones, which advance with the balloons. Balloons count even if you don't finish the race, so you can spend a run just collecting them.

Not in the official sources

The dates, the four tracks and the main rewards are now official (1.5 update notes and the event infographic). The full list of Runner's Milestones, how many balloons each one asks for and each race's time limit aren't in the official sources.
